There are many great organizations helping our military service members, veterans, wounded warriors and the families that stand beside them. In honor of Memorial Day, we've created a short list of organizations dedicated to serving and supporting those who have given their lives and the families they've left behind.

Fallen Patriots: Their mission is to provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund: The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, Inc. provides emotional, educational and financial support to help US service member’s dependents who have lost a parent or have a severely disabled parent who served in the Gulf, Iraq and/or Afghanistan wars as well as college scholarships for the disabled veteran. https://www.cfsrf.org/ourprograms.html
TAPS Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors: TAPS provides comfort, care and resources to all those grieving the death of a military loved one. Since 1994, TAPS has provided comfort and hope 24/7 through a national peer support network and connection to grief resources, all at no cost to surviving families and loved ones. https://www.taps.org
Gold Star Wives of America: Gold Star Wives of America, Inc. exists to preserve and enhance benefits to surviving United States military spouses and their children; to help our members and their children face the future with courage and determination, and to honor the memory of our military spouses who made the ultimate sacrifice. https://www.goldstarwives.org
Folded Flag Foundation: The Folded Flag Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational scholarships and support grants to the spouses and children of the U.S. military and government personnel who died as a result of hostile action or in an accident related to U.S. combat operations.
The Memory Box Project: The Memory Box Project was created in order to provide military families with a sanctuary for the memories of their lost loved one. Creating heirlooms for Families of Fallen Soldiers. https://www.memoryboxproject.org
The Matthew Freeman Project: Fostering memories of our fallen soldiers through providing scholarships and custom sewn bears made from the uniforms of the fallen or combat related suicide. https://freemanproject.org
The Travis Manion Foundation: TMF strives to unite and strengthen communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. We develop programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
Wingman Foundaton: We are an all-volunteer, veteran-founded non-profit organization dedicated to providing immediate post-mishap support for the Navy and Marine Corps Aviation community and their families. In addition to providing immediate support, we are also proud to ensure our fallen heroes are never forgotten and the loved ones they leave behind are always supported.
Navy Marine Corps Relief Society: The mission of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society is to provide, in partnership with the Navy and Marine Corps, financial, educational, and other assistance to members of the Naval Service of the United States, eligible family members, and survivors when in need; and to receive and manage funds to administer these programs.
That Others May Live Foundation: That Others May Live Foundation provides immediate tragedy assistance, scholarships for the children, and other critical support of U.S. Air Force Rescue Heroes who are killed or severely wounded in operational or training missions. TOMLF also provides advocacy, providing critical support and resources to U.S. Air Force Rescue service members, veterans, and families affected by visible and invisible wounds. https://www.thatothersmaylive.org
Gold Star Families: The mission of Gold Star Legacy is to provide support, information, and services to Gold Star family members; to promote events, memorials, and foundations in memory of their loved ones; and to encourage the public to honor and remember our fallen heroes.
America’s Gold Star Families: America’s Gold Star Families is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created to provide honor, hope and healing to those grieving any military loss through active duty service. We include all family members representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstance of death.
